Deploy an FX Chain to Studio One

The following article is intended for folks who have ordered a custom FX Chain, though it can be useful to just about anyone who wants to migrate their FX Chain to another computer. Once you completed these steps, the FX Chain will be available to apply to tracks in your work.

Steps:

1. Download the FX Chain file ([name].multipreset) and save to your desktop or other location from which it can be easily retrieved.
2. While you have a Studio One SONG file open, click on Browse (lower right-hand corner) to expand the browser pane.
3. Select the Effects tab.
4. Expand the FX Chains folder.

5. Click on any FX Chain preset, right click, and select "Show In Explorer" on Windows or "Show in Finder" on Mac. The FX Chains folder will open in File Explorer or Finder as appropriate.

6. Copy the preset file from your desktop (or other location) to the FX Chains folder.
7. Return to Studio One. Right click anywhere in the Effects browser window and select "Refresh".

8. The preset should now show in the browser window.
9. You may now click and drag the FX Chain onto the track to which you wish it to apply.
